1 Corinthians 15:33 says it very simply. Bad company corrupts good character.
Bad company (wrong association and interaction with wrong people, TV shows, music, etc)
corrupts (defiles, ruins, reduces spiritual growth, discourages)
good character (the talented, respectful, cultured, successful, faith filled, person that God created you to be).
