I just watched the movie, "The Book of Eli" and the movie was beautiful. It's not a movie for the "young ones" because of some scenes that portray violence, but it was an inspiring movie. A Christian themed movie that will inspire you to study your Bible and know it more.
After watching the movie, Kyle mentioned that it made him want to just go and study his Bible. I felt the same (you probably will after watching the movie too).
So, I went to my room, took my Bible and opened it up to Romans. Romans 12:1. As I read the verse, it reminded me of a scene in the movie. To cut the long story short, in the scene, Eli gets shot.
He offered his body as a sacrifice for the Word by taking a bullet, and that is a form of worship to God. If you've watched the movie, you'll probably understand me more.
What am I saying?
There are tons of ways, based on this Romans 12:1, to offer your body as a living sacrifice which is a form of worship. Examples? They're way to numerous to cover... be it painting, music (giving your time), etc, just ways that you serve God(focus on God) while doing something that you enjoy doing.
