Quoting a phrase from a previous post, ""Go to school, work hard, get married, have a family", basically be successful".
Do you think God's standard for success is the same? God wants you to be successful, have a family and work hard, true, but does it all stop there? What if we add "Go to church" to the things above, does it still make the success mark that God has for us?

The answer is a resounding "No!!!".
Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you(give you peace) and not to harm you(disaster), plans to give you hope and a future.
Very reassuring right? So, God definitely wants the best for you. But what is God's standard for success?
God's standard for success is "good success" as labeled in the Bible.
Every other kind of success is okay, but the success that matters to God is "good success".
Joshua 1:8 - This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
So basically, no need to show you any other Bible verses. What matters to God in terms of your success is a successful relationship with Jesus Christ.
Matthew 6:33 says Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all these things(that are identified with as being successful) will be added to you.
Very simple isn't it?
