Now before you jump to any conclusions (if you were about to) about this being all theology and "deep stuff" not important to you, read below first. :D
This one is going to be short. I promise.... well... I do.
What is the Ministry of Reconciliation?
2 Corinthians 5:15
And He (Jesus Christ) died for all that those who live should no longer live for themselves (for the flesh, in sin, self pleasing, etc) but for Him who died for them (Jesus Christ) and was raised again.
Also,
2 Corinthians 5:17-18
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!. All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.
This is the ministry of reconciliation.
God sent Jesus to die for our sins so that man who was lost and broken away from God in the fall can now be one and reconciled with God by believing and living in Christ.
The Ministry of Reconciliation today:
1. Any ministry under God (the Head of the Family) whose aim is to reconcile those who are lost with God can be said to be a ministry of reconciliation.
2. Anyone (believer) who is fulfilling the great commission and helping to sow seeds into people's lives that will eventually bear fruit of reconciliation with God is living the ministry if reconciliation.
