This is a long overdue post... long long long overdue.
God gave me this idea for this post some days back... I think :D
Or was it yesterday? Lot's of late nights designing has made me lose track of dates... thank God for grace huh? (2 Corinthians 12:9)
It goes like this:
I recently designed a new website (www.loriebranden.com) and it looks amazing by the way, and I have this habit of telling myself and people: "I love "my" work".
You see, I give God glory for all the work that I do in vast areas; God has blessed me amazingly, but I don't give God glory all the time.
In this situation, my sister had to remind me, "It's not your work, it's His work"... TRUTH!!! FACT!!!!
I got told and I'm glad I did, thank God that I listened. I no more consider my work as "my" work; Everything creative thing I do is inspired by God, so it's HIS WORK.
Don't take God's glory. Never do.
God gives you gifts, skills and talents, so the world can see, be amazed and through your giving Him glory, lead people back to Him... if that made any sense.
Thank God for His grace and mercy. He's given me another chance.... again.
Isaiah 42:8 - God will not share His glory with anything... not your talents, not even you.
