Woah...
I just discovered this like seconds ago on this page on Joseph Prince's website.
Romans 5:17
For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ.
So Righteousness is a gift. I DIDN'T KNOW THAT!!!!!
Oh well, God knows why He is revealing this to me now.
Why?
In my opinion, I have prayed wrongly to God about this subject. I have asked God for grace to live more holy [and righteous]... a good prayer I believe. However, I prayed for the right thing the wrong way. I should have asked God to give me the gift of Righteousness... the same way I ask God for the Spirit of excellence or the Spirit of perfection.
For me [and you] to reign in this life, to live successful lives as God's dear children and servants, we need the gift of righteousness. I want God to see a Jesus clone when He sees me. Is that too much of a desire? ..
