Brief song story:
Hang time is definitely a nod to NBA season starting. But on a deeper level, I'm being introspective as I talk about my life, send a quick message to doubters, and ask God for help on the verses. I then paint a contrasting picture showing fearlessness and boldness on the hook - the goal is to get everyone listening who relates to get out of the slump.
